Realizing What You Have

Many of us have gotten into the trap of comparing ourselves with others. This leads us to believe that we don't have things, when, in truth, we do have them.

In the "Law of Attraction" it is important to understand that your reality aligns with the vibrations of your inner reality. If you see yourself as poor, unhealthy, unloved, disrespected, then, according to the "Law of Attraction", your life will reflect that vision.

So, first off, it is important to release judgment from our lives. This is, of course, not completely possible or practical, but there are some things that many of us could do differently.

Someone I deeply respect (Adib Taherzadeh) once spoke about reality. He was talking about the concept of wealth and poverty. He said that wealth has a real existence, but poverty doesn't. He said something to the effect of this: If you needed to go somewhere and take everything with you, you could take your wealth with you, but you could not bring your poverty with you.

When we get into the habit of comparing ourselves with others, real or fictitious, we can easily get into a state of believing that we don't have things that we actually have. The reality is that we simply have less of these things than the people we are comparing ourselves to.

So, if we are poor, we are really only less wealthy than some people we are comparing ourselves to.

If we are unhealthy, we are actually only less healthy than people we are using as a comparison.

If we are unloved or disrespected, again, we are really only seeing less love, or different love and respect than those we are comparing ourselves with.

The truth is, if you have anything, even so simple as air in your lungs, you are wealthy? If you were to compare yourself with someone who doesn't have air in their lungs you will instantly see that this is true.

The truth is, if you are alive, then you are healthy. Even if you eat twinkies all day long every day, you are healthy. If you doubt me, compare yourself to someone who eats nothing at all. The twinkie eater will definitely live longer.

The truth is, if you exist, you are loved. Someone loved you enough to let you enter this world. If you believe in a higher power, God, whatever, then you must have been loved, or you would not have even been conceived in the first place.

So, whenever you are thinking that you want something or that you don't have something. Realize, right away, that you are comparing yourself to others and you are judging yourself to be lacking. This feeling will attract this reality to you, if for no other reason than for the universe to communicate to you that you really did have something.

If you notice this, then immediately take a moment to think of what it would be like to be completely without and realize that you are not.

At this point, you can then realize you have something and start building on it to attract even more of it. You can realize that you are wealthy and then think, "I'd like to have even more wealth." You can realize that you are healthy and then think, "I'd like to have even more health."

May you enjoy the process of getting healthier, wealthier, wiser, more attractive, more respected and all of the good things in this life.
