Realizing What You Have

Many of us have gotten into the trap of comparing ourselves with others. This leads us to believe that we don't have things, when, in truth, we do have them.

In the "Law of Attraction" it is important to understand that your reality aligns with the vibrations of your inner reality. If you see yourself as poor, unhealthy, unloved, disrespected, then, according to the "Law of Attraction", your life will reflect that vision.

So, first off, it is important to release judgment from our lives. This is, of course, not completely possible or practical, but there are some things that many of us could do differently.

Someone I deeply respect (Adib Taherzadeh) once spoke about reality. He was talking about the concept of wealth and poverty. He said that wealth has a real existence, but poverty doesn't. He said something to the effect of this: If you needed to go somewhere and take everything with you, you could take your wealth with you, but you could not bring your poverty with you.

When we get into the habit of comparing ourselves with others, real or fictitious, we can easily get into a state of believing that we don't have things that we actually have. The reality is that we simply have less of these things than the people we are comparing ourselves to.

So, if we are poor, we are really only less wealthy than some people we are comparing ourselves to.

If we are unhealthy, we are actually only less healthy than people we are using as a comparison.

If we are unloved or disrespected, again, we are really only seeing less love, or different love and respect than those we are comparing ourselves with.

The truth is, if you have anything, even so simple as air in your lungs, you are wealthy? If you were to compare yourself with someone who doesn't have air in their lungs you will instantly see that this is true.

The truth is, if you are alive, then you are healthy. Even if you eat twinkies all day long every day, you are healthy. If you doubt me, compare yourself to someone who eats nothing at all. The twinkie eater will definitely live longer.

The truth is, if you exist, you are loved. Someone loved you enough to let you enter this world. If you believe in a higher power, God, whatever, then you must have been loved, or you would not have even been conceived in the first place.

So, whenever you are thinking that you want something or that you don't have something. Realize, right away, that you are comparing yourself to others and you are judging yourself to be lacking. This feeling will attract this reality to you, if for no other reason than for the universe to communicate to you that you really did have something.

If you notice this, then immediately take a moment to think of what it would be like to be completely without and realize that you are not.

At this point, you can then realize you have something and start building on it to attract even more of it. You can realize that you are wealthy and then think, "I'd like to have even more wealth." You can realize that you are healthy and then think, "I'd like to have even more health."

May you enjoy the process of getting healthier, wealthier, wiser, more attractive, more respected and all of the good things in this life.

I Want This Mess To Go Away

I've noticed that one big issue for many people I know and have heard of lately is a desire for their mess to go away.

I've felt this way myself a number of times.

Often I find the following phrases coming to mind within myself and others

-I hate this mess!
-How come this place is always cluttered?
-I could never invite anyone over to this pigsty.

I'm sure you could think of a few yourself.

Obviously, this is a focus on what you don't want, so let's see about how we can transform this into a positive thought that attracts what we really want.

Starting at the top we can rephrase the title of this entry as:
-I Want To Attract Tidiness

and the others as:
-I love cleanliness and order.
-How can this place be even tidier?
-I really enjoy inviting people over and the tidier this house gets, the easier it is to invite them.

I'd like to point some things out, in the phrases above
1. It is always good to keep your thoughts in present tense
2. Use logical fallacies to help you. When we say, how can this place be even tidier, it presumes that the place is already tidy, even though that is not an established fact, the mind will begin to perceive it as such and that will help make it so.
3. Be honest. Notice that all the phrases above can be true, no matter what you believe your reality is (Note: I will share with you later, some advice that seems to contradict this, but when you're ready you will realize it doesn't. Just try to keep an open mind).

I'd like to leave you with some useful links that may help you with this issue:

Getting Out of Debt

This is one concept that I know has been a core desire for a lot of people and this is a sentiment that numerous people (including myself) have expressed.

Getting out of debt is one of those concepts that many think is G.O.O.D. That is to say, many people think that this is a positive concept. However, if you think about the components of this, then you must realize that at the core of it is the concept of debt. When you think about getting out of debt, all you're really thinking about is debt, and if you think about it strongly enough, "Law of Attraction" states that you'll simply get more of it.

So, how do we look at getting out of debt in a way that invokes a more positive thinking process, that is, thinking about what we want rather than what we don't want.

One suggestion that I have heard of is to think about prosperity and abundance, as this is the opposite of debt.

This is certainly a good positive thought to replace getting out of debt with.

Recently, I considered some other good thoughts that are related more directly to the concept of getting out of debt, which you might also find quite useful.

First of all, let's start by changing our thinking about debt altogether. In my experience, most of us think of debt as a negative balance. If we were looking at our net worth, we would think of ourselves as having a net worth of less than 0. Talk about a negative thought.

But what is debt really? It's not really a negative balance. It is actually an unfulfilled promise. That's right. When you are in debt, that is really another way of saying, you have promised someone (or some entity) that you will give it a certain amount of money over a period of time.

I'm sure you have other promises that you have made that you don't feel a need to "get out of", promises that don't feel "negative". For many of you, marriage is one of those promises that you don't want to get out of. The unuttered promise to care for your children may also be one of those promises you would not quickly part with. Promises are simply types of obligations. We all have obligations and they are all a necessary part of life. So first of all, debt is not necessarily a bad thing. Even so, we will likely make a greater impact on this life and the people in it if we are not overburdened with the promises we've made.

So, in addition to thoughts of prosperity and abundance, I would highly recommend that you include in your thoughts, the fulfillment of all of your promises as well as a commitment to making better quality promises that are of higher value to yourself and others.

I hope that you fulfill all of your promises and handle all of your obligations quickly and honorably.

Blessings always

Chris

Thinking Positive

For centuries, there have been those who were aware of the principles behind a concept known as the "Law of Attraction" (LOA for short). Because of the advancement of technology and communication, as well as the good will of some amazing people, this concept has been getting much more awareness over the last decade.

One of the core concepts of LOA is the idea that what you focus on most intently is what you tend to get in your life. This is regardless of whether you want, or don't want it to happen.

The basic idea is that if you think about what you don't want, or you think about what you do want, you get what you think about.

In my own personal experience, I have noticed many who can instantly rattle off a huge laundry list of things that they don't want, but they have a difficult time either thinking of things that they want, or thinking in such a way that the things that they don't want eventually disappear.

It seems that I have been fortunate enough to be able to find ways of rephrasing and reordering negative ideas so that they can be expressed as positive thoughts, and it is my hope that I can, through example, help others to do the same.

It is my intention to provide numerous examples here that will do just that. It is also my sincere hope that this will help you attract into your life all the abundance you need to allow you to move beyond your own needs and make contributions to better the rest of the world.
