I Want This Mess To Go Away

I've noticed that one big issue for many people I know and have heard of lately is a desire for their mess to go away.

I've felt this way myself a number of times.

Often I find the following phrases coming to mind within myself and others

-I hate this mess!
-How come this place is always cluttered?
-I could never invite anyone over to this pigsty.

I'm sure you could think of a few yourself.

Obviously, this is a focus on what you don't want, so let's see about how we can transform this into a positive thought that attracts what we really want.

Starting at the top we can rephrase the title of this entry as:
-I Want To Attract Tidiness

and the others as:
-I love cleanliness and order.
-How can this place be even tidier?
-I really enjoy inviting people over and the tidier this house gets, the easier it is to invite them.

I'd like to point some things out, in the phrases above
1. It is always good to keep your thoughts in present tense
2. Use logical fallacies to help you. When we say, how can this place be even tidier, it presumes that the place is already tidy, even though that is not an established fact, the mind will begin to perceive it as such and that will help make it so.
3. Be honest. Notice that all the phrases above can be true, no matter what you believe your reality is (Note: I will share with you later, some advice that seems to contradict this, but when you're ready you will realize it doesn't. Just try to keep an open mind).

I'd like to leave you with some useful links that may help you with this issue:

  1. Hey Chris, this is so funny because I *JUST* wrote a blog post a few days ago based on my experience of this very same thing! I was feeling bummed about a mess and then after watching the DVD The Law of Attraction In Action Episode I I realized something HUGE about the way I kept thinking about it. It was better for me to not think in the past or the future but in the present ... like to look for a tiny piece of what I wanted (organization) and appreciate that tiny piece NOW. And that was how to drop the ikky feelings and move towards the organized space. Funny, you are always in synchronicity with me (whether you realize it or not ... whenever you talk it's like me talking, it's so funny!) Thanks for the inspiration!

    Warmly,
    Col
